May is not only Food Allergy Awareness Month, but also Mental Health Awareness Month! Since the Food Allergy Counselor website focuses on food allergy mental health, it's no surprise that May is a great time to share an abundance of tips and information on both topics.
During Food Allergy Awareness Week, May 12-18th, Tamara Hubbard, MA, LCPC, the voice behind the Food Allergy Counselor brand, creator of the Food Allergy Counselor Directory, and co-founder of the Food Allergy Behavioral Health Association, will be sharing food allergy mental health tips DAILY! Topics being covered include (but aren't limited to): Navigating health-focused support groups, understanding anxiety/fear/worries, mindset, helpful resources, food allergy facts, and a useful problem-solving technique for those tough emotions and situations.
