Food Allergy Behavioral Health Networking Group for Providers online discussion group for allergy-informed licensed behavioral healthcare providers
The Food Allergy Behavioral Health Networking Group is an online professional networking and discussion group. This group is for behavioral healthcare providers listed on the Food Allergy Counselor Directory, doing allergy-focused research, and graduate students in clinical behavioral healthcare programs who plan to focus their career (in part) on working with those managing allergic conditions. These providers are licensed behavioral healthcare clinicians in the fields of Clinical Counseling, Clinical Marriage & Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, Clinical Psychology/Health Psychology, and Clinical Psychiatry (or those that are pursuing their full clinical license), and who are committed to improving the lives of anyone impacted by IgE-mediated food allergies and allergic conditions. That means that these providers are allergy-informed, and are already seeing allergic patients or are open to offering therapeutic services to the allergy community.
This online collaboration space allows allergy-informed clinical behavioral healthcare providers to connect, discuss relevant food allergy topics/research, share resources, receive mentorship, learn from one another, and take part in one of the monthly FAC Directory Provider Food Allergy Counseling-Focused Peer Consultation Groups.
If you're in one of these clinical behavioral healthcare fields, and are interested in being listed on the Food Allergy Counselor Directory and taking part in this professional online discussion group, please complete this form below and Tamara Hubbard will be in contact with an application.
Approval to join the networking group without being a FAC-listed provider will be on a case-by-case basis.
Approval to join this networking group does not automatically mean you're approved to be listed on the Food Allergy Counselor Directory. Additional criteria listed on the application must be met for FAC Directory listing approval.
Applications submitted by those not in a clinical counseling, psychology, social work, family therapy or psychiatry field will not be approved.
